<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a receiving case from which a tape cartridge can be taken out easily by one touch operation by providing an interlocking means for retaining the case body in a closed position with a spring deflected to impart an upwardly swinging motion to an upper lid when it is released. CONSTITUTION:A receiving case consists of a plastic-made case body 1, an upper lid 2 and a partition 3. To attach the upper case 2 to the case body 1, a helical spring 40 is fitted over a connecting pin 24 on one side of the upper lid, the one end thereof is receivably supported on the inner surface of the case body 1 and the other end thereof is received by the inside of the top wall 22 of the upper lid 2, so that the upper lid 2 is set with the spring kept deflected to impart an upward swinging motion to the upper lid 2 when it is released. To take a cartridge C out of the case, the left and right side walls 12 on the side of an entrance and exit opening 14 of the case body 1 are squeezed against each other to resiliently deform the front end of a bottom wall 11 so as to disengage a locking recess part 18 outwardly and the upper lid 2 is then opened upwardly by the spring 40 to slidably move the partition 3 forwardly and slightly past the front opening 14, whereby the tape cartridge C can be taken out easily.</p> |
