<p>PURPOSE:To provide a medical needle plug provided in the course of various containers and pipes of a liquid intake port of an infusion/transfusion bag, a blood sampling port of an external blood circuit and the like by eliminating leakage of a liquid from a spot from which a needle stabbed into a needle stabbing area is pulled off and moreover, by achieving safety so high that the stabbing area is kept sterilized by the time the needle is used. CONSTITUTION:This needle plug comprises a cylindrical body 11 which has a diaphragm 15 closer to an upper end opening 11a and has a mounting piece 17 hung over the periphery of a lower end opening 11b, a rubber-like plug body 12 fitted into the upper end opening of an outer cylindrical body 11 and a cover body covering an outer circumference and upper outer circumference of the cylindrical body excluding a stabbing area 12a on the top surface of the external rubber-like plug body. The cover body 13 has a retaining rib (or recessed groove) 21 formed surrounding the stabbing area while the stabbing area is wrapped detachably with a lid body 14 having a recessed groove (or rib) 14a retainable on the rib or the recessed groove of the cylindrical body.</p> |
