PURPOSE:To easily set trimming, magnification and output size in one process. CONSTITUTION:An original picture is displayed on a picture display area A of a CRT and various menus are displayed on an area B. When a magnification and an output size are set, a trimming frame with a size depending on the magnification and the output size is displayed superimposingly on an original picture and a desired range is trimmed by moving the trimming frame with a mouse. When the trimming range is set and then a magnification is set, the output size is automatically calculated from the size of the trimming range and the magnification and the result is reflected on a column of the menu of the output size. Moreover, when the trimming range is set and then the output size is set, the magnification is automatically calculated from the size of the trimming range and the output size and the result is reflected on a column of the menu of the magnification. |
