<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject apparatus consisting of a specific constitution having a gas-separation membrane, capable of preventing the oxidation of food, etc., by decreasing the humidity and oxygen-concentration in a preservation chamber using a simple structure and enabling the preservation of food, etc., over a long period without causing the deterioration of the quality. CONSTITUTION:Steam and oxygen in the air of the primary side are preferentially transmitted through a gas-separation membrane 21a of a 1st membrane module 22 by evacuating the secondary side of the membrane 21 with a blowing means such as a blower fan 23 and an evacuation means such as a vacuum pump 24. The air left in the primary side without being passed through the membrane 21a is dehumidified and enriched with nitrogen by this process. The oxygen-enriched air containing steam is discharged from the vacuum pump and the air left without being passed through the membrane 21a is introduced into a preservation chamber 20 for food, etc., by the blower fan 23. A gas-separation membrane 21b of the 2nd membrane module 25 is evacuated with the vacuum pump 24 to effect the preferential permeation of the steam and oxygen in the air in the preservation chamber through the membrane 21b and the steam-containing oxygen-enriched air is discharged from the vacuum pump 24.</p> |
