RADIAL SCAN TYPE ULTRASONIC INSPECTOR

PURPOSE:To enable detection of a scanning position of an ultrasonic vibrator easily and accurately when the ultrasonic vibrator is introduced into a part to be observed to scan it radially under the monitoring of an endoscope. CONSTITUTION:A marking light is irradiated along a scan line of an ultrasonic vibrator. The projection of the marking light may be in a spot or in a line. The irradiation of the marking in a loop is the most preferable. To produce the looped marking light, a sleeve 14 to be used for rotary driving of the ultrasonic vibrator 12 by centrifugal operation is utilized as light introducing part and a mirror finished surface is formed on a vibrator mounting part 13 where the ultrasonic vibrator 12 is provided, a reflection surface thereby making the light from the sleeve 14 reflect on the reflection surface.
