The circuit utilizes a real time clock generator and back-up battery not to lose time data on power failure. The circuit includes a programmable interrupt controller (PIC) for generating programmable interrupt signal, RAM for storing data transmitted from an interfacing unit (2) and timing data, a real time clock generating circuit (RTC) for generating real time clock signal, and a power monitering circuit (PMC) for checking the external power to supply power from a backup battery when the external power is down.
