The microcontroller is used for conversion of the pulse sequence transmitted between the remote control transmitter and the receiver to suit each of the different modules using a programme determined via an external circuit. Pref. the transmitted digital sequence can be stored with the circuit allowing each module to be brought into a defined condition upon loss of the digital signal, or upon the supply voltage dropping below a defined value.
