PURPOSE: To form a non-visible image having a high UV absorbing force in a receptor material by incorporating an ultraviolet absorbing benzthiazole compound represented by a specific general formula in a wax or a polymer binder material in a donor material at one side of a sheet, ribbon or web support. CONSTITUTION: In the method for thermal transfer printing by using a thermal transfer donor material by heating according to an image in a contact state with a receptor material, the donor material contains a sheet, ribbon or web support having a layer mixed with an ultraviolet absorbing benzthiazole compound represented by a formula I (wherein Z is an atom necessary to close an unsubstituted or substituted adjacent aromatic ring or ring-system, R is a hydrogen, 1-4C alkyl group, R, R are each a hydrogen, amino group, substituted amino group, or alkoxy group), thereby forming an ultraviolet absorbing image not fluorescent luminescence in a thermal transfer printing method and visible spectrum. |
