PURPOSE: To perform superposed printing extremely accurately and surely at a printed region to be altered by controlling the feeding speed of a flexible support along a working path and aligning the support sequentially with corresponding printing parts. CONSTITUTION: A reading head 17 detects passage of register arranged at each region subjected to superposed printing and that region is aligned, along with a sensor 18, with a corresponding print region of a print roller 3. A flexible support 4 slips relative to a dragging roller and when the sensor 18 detects a slight lead or lag of the passage at a specified moment, a processing unit 16 delivers working signals to both second power unit 14 and motor 22a. These signals are calculated based on the detection results and operation of a drive roller 13 and an auxiliary control roller 22 is altered. These rollers advance the flexible support disposed in the vicinity thereof at a higher or lower speed depending on the conditions thus compensating for a mismatch detected by a detector 15 completely. |
