The electrical connector, which can be used for a motor car, comprises an insulating body (12) pierced with passages for accommodating contacts each fitted with a linking wire (18) and comprising a rear grommet (36) made of an elastomer material, pierced with at least two rows of individual passages for the wires and held by a perforated plate which can be integrated onto the body in a removable way. Each passage of the grommet includes at least one sealing lip, the shape of which at rest is such that it closes off the corresponding individual passage, in the absence of wire, when the grommet is held by the perforated plate. <IMAGE>
