The door seal is secured by a pressfit plastics strip (1), the rear of which has securing tags moulded to the strip. The strip is shaped to fit the contour of the door and requires no adhesive. It is easily replaced when damaged. The strip has a profile, with a lip at one edge of strength. The tags have rectangular profile shanks with outwards facing, rounded heads to clip into the mounting holes. USE/ADVANTAGE - Low cost fitting, simple to replace, does not damage seal i.e. with adhesive. |
