METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING BRAKE PRESSURE

PURPOSE: To control the speed of a motor at an optimum value which is not excessive in the motor-driven pressure modulator of an anti-lock control mechanism. CONSTITUTION: The current applied to a motor 30 for driving a modulator 18 is increased in a ramp shape for a pressure re-applying action at the time of anti-lock control, and the ramp rate is adjusted and changed smaller as a motor current value approaches the motor current value indicated when lock-up occurs. The motor 30 is repeatedly braked and properly controlled while a motor speed controller 28 for the modulator 18 controls the motor current to increase the pressure in the ramp shape.
