Towing hook for vehicle - is fitted with strengthened mounting using bracing to chassis point

The towing hook is mounted under the front and rear bumpers to enable a vehicle to be recovered for repair etc. To prevent damage to the front/rear body structure the hook mounting (14) is braced back to a chassis point (8) by a strap (2) which takes the tensile force and transfers it to the chassis point. The strap has a threaded end (14) which locates through the bumper strip (11), or the valance, and takes the hook. The rear end of the strap has a flat section with an eyelet to fit over a chassis mounting. USE/ADVANTAGE - Simple fitting of towing hook to vehicle. No need to reinforce valance, strong support for towing hook.
