发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF GEL FILLING CAPILLARY TUBE FOR CAPILLARY-TUBE GEL ELECTROPHORESIS
摘要 PURPOSE: To simply produce a gel packed capillary tube by filling a capillary tube with an acrylic monomer and forming a polyacrylamide gel matrix by linear polymerization and crosslinking the same by γ-radiation. CONSTITUTION: A gel packed capillary tube is produced by filling a capilary tube with a degassed monomer soln. to react the same within the caliber of the capillary tube to form a hydrophilic polymercontaining gel matrix by linear polymerization or polymerization and crosslinking a polymerizable and/or functionally reactive compd. by the γ-radiation of the packed capillary tube. In a pref. mode, a fusion quartz capillary tube is filled with a degassed monomer soln. of an acrylamide and/or bisacrylamide mixture in a known soln. or a buffer soln. Both terminals of the capillary tube are closed and the acrylamide and/or bisacrylamide mixture is crosslinked by linear polymerization or polymerization and the γ-radiation of the packed capillary tube. By this constitution, the conventional defect related to the uniform distribution of a polymer is avoided and impurities by the taking-in of a radical initiator can be avoided.
