PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost of a plastic container main body and a container metal cover. CONSTITUTION:The manufacturing method of a plastic container main body comprises the processes of heating a plastic laminate sheet 30, thermoforming a container main body 35 with a flange 36 between a male mold 11 and a female mold 18 by using the laminate sheet 30 and pressing the flange 36 into the given thickness. A container 40 with a metal cover consists of the container main body 35 and a metal cover 41 with a peripheral edge section 42 for wind clamping the flange 36. The laminate sheet 30 is provided with heat-resistant foamed layers 45 and 49 composed of highly foamed polystyrene or the like.
