PURPOSE:To use various styles of type without increasing the memory capacity by storing the styles of type having high using frequencies like the Ming type, the Gothic type, etc., in a font processor and the styles of type having low using frequencies in another device in a network. CONSTITUTION:A 1st device 101 is connected to a network 120 via a network I/F 109, and a 2nd device 110 containing a built-in font storage part 111 of large capacity is connected to the network 120 via the I/F 109 respectively. The device 101 contains a built-in font 104 which stores the styles of type having the high using frequencies, a temporary memory 105 which stores temporarily the font received from another device, a font processing part 102, a font control table 103, etc. Therefore the styles of type having the low using frequencies, e.g. the writing brush type, etc., are stored in the device 110. |
