PURPOSE: To exert shock absorption and an energy dissipating characteristic against various vibrations. CONSTITUTION: A vibration absorbing resilient body 36 having a first spring rate is arranged between the side section 12a of an inner sleeve 12 and an outer housing 10. A vibration absorbing resilient body 54 having a second spring rate is arranged between the side section 12b of an inner sleeve 12 and an outer housing 10. The first spring rate and the second spring rate are set so that the inner sleeve 12 is easily deflected toward the vibration absorbing resilient body 54. A fluid holding chamber 66 is formed in the vibration absorbing resilient body 54, and a fluid holding chamber 70 is formed between the vibration absorbing resilient body 54 and the outer housing 10. The fluid holding chamber 70 is communicated with the fluid holding chamber 66 via a passage 72. A plate 80 provided in the passage 72 controls the flow of a fluid from the passage 72. A second passage communicates the fluid holding chambers 66 and 70. |
