<p>PURPOSE:To enable faithful image input without causing the quantity of light captured by a light receiving portion to be changed with a change in a scanning position regardless of the degree of freedom in raising or lowering the resolution of image input. CONSTITUTION:A first convergent lens 113 through which flux of light is converted into parallel beams of light after passing through a diaphragm 112, a first rotating mirror 114 which changes the direction of the parallel beams of light, and a second convergent lens 115 which converges the beams of light from the first rotating mirror 114 onto a transmitting document G are disposed in such a manner that the first rotating mirror 114 is located at the focus of the second convergent lens 115. A third convergent lens 122 which converts the transmitted flux of light from the transmitting document G into parallel beams of light and a second rotating mirror 190 which change the direction of the parallel beams of light are disposed in such a manner that the second rotating mirror 190 is located at the focus of the third convergent lens 122. Further, a light receiving portion 25 for capturing the beams of light from the second rotating mirror 190 is provided and both of the rotating mirrors 114, 190 are rotated in opposite directions and in synchronization with each other by two respective rotary driving motors.</p> |
