PURPOSE:To readily adjust the color tone of display of transmitted light to a desired one so as to obtain products of constantly stable quality by coloring the reflecting plates of a backup light portion. CONSTITUTION:A backup light portion is provided with a case 1, a flat reflecting plate 2, a light guide body 3, a diffusion plate 4, a cold cathode-ray tube 5 and a U-shaped reflecting plate 6 and the reflecting plates 2,6 are colored; i.e., the U-shaped reflecting plate 6 is painted in the color of the highest reflection efficiency and the flat reflecting plate 2 made of resin or metal is coated with reddish, bluish, greenish or yellowish paint with reference to standard white color. The color tone of the flat reflecting plate 2 which is useful in varying the color tone of the white-colored portion of a display portion and with which the white color can be adjusted most easily is thus varied. |
