PURPOSE:To use the information related to a designated part of speech in a result of retrieval by designating a part of speech of a word, at the time of generating a wordbook from a result of retrieval of a dictionary. CONSTITUTION:This character processor is provided with a dictionary means in which word information and explanatory information are corresponded and stored, a retrieving means for retrieving the corresponding information from the word information, a display means for displaying a result of retrieval by the retrieving means concerned, a part-of-speech designating means for designating a part of speech of a word to a result of retrieval displayed on the display means concerned, a workbook data generating means for converting the retrieval result related to a part of speech designated by the part-of-speech designating means concerned into wordbook data of a prescribed format, and a wordbook data storage means for storing the wordbook data. |
