A process for forming a laminated body, by introducing a foil into a mold, introducing a thermosettable compound into the mold and closing and heating said mold whereby said laminated body is formed and said compound is cured, whereby the foil is fully or partly deep-drawn with vacuum before, during or after the compound is introduced and before the mold is completely closed. Laminated bodies according to the present invention are applicable for use in, for example, aerospace components, dish aerials, decorative plates having a smooth and/or reflecting surface, or plastic parts which are not statically charged. |
