PURPOSE:To obtain an elevator control device having the capability of ensuring efficient elevator operation, and safer and more reliable protection against a heating means operating and heating oil in a hoisting machine reduction gear upon a drop in the temperature thereof. CONSTITUTION:In an elevator control device having a reduction gear immersed in oil and equipped with an electrical heater for heating the oil upon a drop in the temperature thereof, the first protective device to operate when a time for supplying heating current to a heater is equal to or above the predetermined value, and the second protective device to operate, upon a rise in oil temperature to the predetermined upper limit, are separately installed as protective means for the heater. According to the aforesaid construction, the elevator control device can be stably and properly protected by both a time-related protection system with the first protective device and an oil temperature-related protection system with the second protective device. |
