Acrylic rubber compsns. contain a copolymer, mainly contg. ethylene and acrylic acid ester units, and 0.12-0.30 wt.% of an epoxy gp. contg. crosslinkable cpd. (I), and also isocyanuric acid (ICA) and a quat. ammonium salt as vulcanisation aids, pref. in a ratio of 1:0.8-1:2, and pref. also carbon black. Also claimed is a rubber tube having at least one layer contg. a vulcanised acrylic rubber compsn. comprising the above compsn. USE/ADVANTAGE - The compsn. has good physical initial properties such as resistance to heat and oil and resistance to permanent compression strain, without undertaking secondary vulcanisation. The prepn. is more economical. The compsns. are useful for the prodn. of rubber prods. including vulcanised acrylic rubber sheets, such as diaphragms, rubber tubes for propellants and fuels, etc.
