PURPOSE:To obtain bright images of black images by extracting the characteristics of various density images, binarizing the various density images, extracting the black parts of the various density images and binarizing the same, thereby removing under-noise and outputting only the characteristic parts. CONSTITUTION:A characteristic extracting section 2 extracts the characteristics, such as line and characters, of the various density images. A binarization circuit 5 binarizes the various density images and a black part extracting binarization circuit 7 extracts and binarizes the black parts of the various density images. An OR circuit 8 removes the under-noise and outputs only the characteristic parts by responding with the characteristics extracted by the characteristic extracting section 2, the images binarized by the binarization circuit 5 and the images binarized by the black part extracting binarization circuit 7. The images brightened of the black images are obtd. in this way. |
