PURPOSE:To improve reading precision by providing image correct means wherein a coordinate value obtainable by pointing an image inputted from an image scanner and displayed on an image display means is converted into a coordinate value with which an error with respect to an actual coordinate value on a manuscript will be within an allowable range. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 2 has display and trace control function, image correct function, and image processing function. The display and trace function is provided for controlling displaying and tracing of images inputted from an image scanner 1. The image correct function is provided for converting a coordinate value obtainable when an image inputted from the image scanner 1 and displayed on a display 3 is plotted by a mouse 4 and a key board 5 into a coordinate value with which an error with respect to an actual coordinate value on a normal image will be within an allowable range required in the production process of a cut mask. The image processing function is provided for creating a cut mask data by processing data inputted from the image scanner 1 based on a corrected coordinate value and outputting it to an automatic plotter 6. Thus, a reading error of image information is corrected so that reading precision of the image information can be improved. |
