<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the number of plates installed and reduce the mounting works compared with conventional method, while the original function of fissure plate is maintained, by furnishing a detaining mechanism which is detained with a movable fissure plate in the condition that an elevator cage is situated in the inter-floor space and which moves the plate in a single piece with the cage. CONSTITUTION:When an elevator cage 14 begins moving between elevator halls 15, 15, a roller 52 of a lever 47 makes transmission to a pressing member 53 as a cam surface immediately after the cage 14 has separated elevator hall 15, and thereby the lever 47 rotates a detent member 46 in the direction of protruding to the movable fissure plate 33 side. Thus the detent member 46 advances against the resilience of a spring 51 to be fitted in a receptacle hole 42 in the plate 33. Therefore, the plate 33 moves between the halls 15, 15 in association with movement of the cage 14. According to this arrangement in which one plate each 33 moves between halls 15, 15 together with the cage 14, the spacing to the wall 30 of the pit can be held, which should secure the safety of crew and passengers owing to the plate 33 even in the event of door 23 opening in the inter-floor space.</p> |
