An air outlet, particularly slotted, and fitted to the ceiling, through which fresh air is blown in to a room, comprises a conductor or filter element (9) suspended on a spring (16) from the air distribution box (2). The coil spring (16) holds the element (9) against the edge (31) of the ceiling panel (27), by means of a hook (20) clipped in the back of the element (9). A roller (12) is located between the bell shaped flange (10, 32) of the element (9) which fit against the ceiling panel edges (31). USE/ADVANTAGE - Easy to fit or take down for inspection or cleaning.
