PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of image resolution on plain paper and enhance plate wear with the acceleration of recording speed by providing a thermally melting layer which has a complex modulus of elasticity which is respectively specific at the time of melting and at a specified temperature increase rate and a thermally melting color material layer of higher melting point than the former, over the thermally melting layer, on a base. CONSTITUTION:A thermally melting layer and a thermally melting color material layer provided over the former are formed on a base. Therefore, transfer properties can be improved without deterioration of image resolution by making the melting point of the thermally melting color material layer higher than that of the thermally melting layer. The material for the thermally melting color material layer has a complex modulus of elasticity at the time of its melting within a range of 5X10<2>pa to 9X10<3>. Time required for a change in the complex modulus of elasticity from 5X10<7>pa to 5X10<4>pa at a rate of 0.5 deg.C/min when the temperature rises is 15min or less. The material for the thermally melting layer has a complex modulus of elasticity within a range of 1X10<4>pa to 5X10<4>pa at the time of melting. Therefore, if the temperature rises at a rate of 0.5 deg.C/min, time required for the change of the complex modulus of elasticity from 5X10<7>pa to 5X10<4>pa is 20 to 40min. |
