PURPOSE:To exactly display equiv. amplitude values by having a living body signal measuring means, power spectrum computing means, waveform separating and computing means, and equiv. amplitude computing means, and displaying topography in accordance with the frequency bands to which peak positions belong and with the equiv. amplitude values concerning a prescribed total frequency band. CONSTITUTION:The living body signals from plural electrodes 4 mounted to the living body are stored as time base waveforms into a memory 6 and are Fourier-transformed to the power spectrum waves of frequency axis. In addition, these signals are separated to plural peak waveforms. The peak values and peak positions of the respective waveforms are calculated and the equiv. amplitude values are determined by extracting the square routes of the respective peak waveforms. The frequency bands to which the respective peak positions belong are determined from the prescribed plural frequency bands and the equiv. amplitude values concerning the respective frequency bands are calculated; further, the topography is displayed in accordance with the respective frequency bands and equiv. amplitude values. The influence of the synthesis of the power spectra concerning the prescribed total frequency band on the other frequency bands is eliminated in this way and the exact equiv. amplitude values are displayed as the topography. |
