<p>PURPOSE:To execute tension control with high responsiveness and to improve dimensional accuracy and shape of rolled stock by directly controlling the tension between stands by adjusting looper angle after the looper angle becomes a reference angle. CONSTITUTION:Torque deviation is determined by subtracting detected torque signal from a given reference torque signal in a subtracter 10c and this subtracted result is given to a servo amplifier panel 5 as looper driving signal. The signal is amplified and given to a looper driving device 1c with the servo amplifier panel 5 and driving torque is adjusted based on a given looper driving signal in the device 1c and this controls tension between stand between i-th stand (i) and (i+1)-th stand.</p> |
