<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize a clutch device to improve its assembling ability in a wet multiple disc clutch device for an automatic speed change gear or the like for a car by interposing an elastic member for energizing so as to widen a plate space to a fixed space between driven plates, and arranging the driven plate alternatingly with a driving plate to form a group of the plates. CONSTITUTION:The plates 53a, 53b of a driving and a driven plate 54, 53 are alternatively arranged to form a group of the plates. Spaces A, B between the driven plates 53a, 53b, etc., at the time of their unengagement are formed by the energizing force of an elastic member 56 such as a wave spring or a coned disc spring. A pressure oil is supplied to and discharged from a piston chamber 59 to change its volume, and a clutch piston 57 is thereby moved to actuate the group of the plates. This formation can make a return spring unnecessary for easy assembling work.</p> |
