PURPOSE:To enable a water sealing member to be disposed in predetermined state in a conduit which is not accessible by a worker, by introducing a water- proof water sealing member having a flexible hose portion and a flange portion into a first and a second conduits by means of an introducing means, and disposing the member therein. CONSTITUTION:A water sealing member 20 has a flexible hose portion 22 and an elastic and deformable flange portion 24 which integratedly continues to one end of the hose portion. At the time of water sealing treatment, first and second long-sized members 46 and 48 are inserted into first and second conduits 12 and 14, and are engaged with each other. The first long-sized member 46 is returned to the side of a manhole 16, both long-sized members are disengaged, then the end of the hose portion 22 of the water sealing member 20 is connected to the end of the long-sized member 48, and the second long-sized member 48 is returned to the side of the manhole 18. The return of the second long-sized member 48 is continued until the flange portion 24 of the water sealing member 20 makes contact with the inner surface of the first conduit 12. Thus, the water sealing member 20 is so disposed as its flange portion 24 is located in the first conduit 12 and the hose portion 22 extends inside the second conduit 14. |
