PURPOSE:To obtain Josephson characteristics having stable and preferable properties by partly anodizing a lower superconductive electrode. CONSTITUTION:The lower superconductive electrode 1 is formed of a superconductive element or compound of a superconductive element, and its thickness is formed thicker than 3,000Angstrom . An insulating layer 2 having a thickness of less than 500Angstrom is formed on the surface of the electrode 1. A fine hole 3 having a cross section of less than 1mum<2> is opened at the layer 2. The electrode 4 having more than 5,000Angstrom is formed to bond the electrode 1 via the hole 3 thereto. A weak junction 5 is formed of superconductive element having the same as the upper and lower superconductive electrodes 4, 1 or superconductor having lower critical temperature than those of the upper and lower superconductor electrodes 4, 1. |
