The device for diagnosing the condition of inner surfaces of cylindrical elements, made up of the optical receiver unit equipped with the linear optical element CCD placed in a camera containing an electronic processing system, consisting in that the optical receiver unit (1) is placed on a shaft (2) in the camera (3) in such a manner so that its optical axis (4) was in each position of the rotation angle perpendicular to the axis (5) of the shaft (2), while the camera (3) placed on a chassis (6) has a mechanical-electronic mechanism to jump push it forward to the next adjacent area to be examined, after each full rotation of the optical receiver unit (1) round the shaft's axis (3).<IMAGE>
