1. An illuminator for the antenna of a satellite television receiver, being in the form of a wave-guide with a constant square section which widens on one side, wherein the wave-guide is entirely filled up with a dielectric (5) and the widening part (3) of it is in the form of a truncated cone having in the truncation plane a diameter that is equal to the diagonal of the wave-guide square, while between the portion of the wave-guide with the square section (1) and the widening portion (3) there is a portion where the wave-guide (4) changes its shape smoothly, the end of the widening section (3) having a concentrically drilled conical dead hole (6) in it.<IMAGE>
