PURPOSE:To obviate the generation of gas and smoke by adhesives and to improve the quality of material machined by fixing ends of honeycomb side supporting members by fixing members to form the honeycomb block for the laser beam machining table. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum honeycomb 16, honeycomb end face supporting members 17 and the honeycomb side supporting members 18 are constituted by fitting of groove parts 17a and 18a, and fitting projections 16a and 16b. After then, the ends of the honeycomb side supporting members 18 fitted in a fitted state on the sides of the aluminum honeycomb 16 are screwed on the ends of the honeycomb end face supporting members 17 fitted in a fitted state on the end faces of the aluminum honeycomb 16 by setscrews 19 which are fixing members, by which the aluminum honeycomb 16 is supported and fixed by the end face supporting members 17 and the side supporting members 18. Accordingly, since the adhesives are not used, the generation of gas and smoke by the adhesives is obviated and the material to be machined is not damaged. |
