<p>PURPOSE:To improve separating performance and corresponding ability to curled paper by fitting a protruding part of a separating pad opposedly provided into a small diameter part of a separating roller, in which large and small diameter parts are alternately formed, and setting a fitting amount of the protruding part small in a sheet introducing side and large in a drawing-out side, in the case of a paper feeder for an electronic copying machine or the like. CONSTITUTION:A separating part 25 is constituted of a paper feed roller 26, in which a roller unit 26a of large diameter and a small diameter part 26b are alternately arranged, and a separating pad 27 having a protruding part 27a and a recessed cavity part 27b. The roller unit 26a is opposed to the recessed cavity part 27b, and the small diameter part 26b is opposed to the protruding part 27a to arrange the paper feed roller 26 and the separating pad 27 so as to generate an overlap amount d1. The sheet introducing/ drawing-out overlap amount d1 is decreased to serve as a preliminary separating region A, and the drawing-out side overlap amount d1 is set larger to serve as a forced separating region B to form the region B continued to the region A.</p> |
