Welding using a consumable metal wire or strip electrode under powder in which the electrical energy supply of the electrode is raised and lowered as the electrode moves along the weld joint and the electrode is fed to the workpiece surface during the high energy supply as it is melted and during the low energy supply electrical conduction through a low current and voltage are or through the powder-melt is maintained. ADVANTAGE - Lowest possible degree of heating is ensured in the workpiece thereby leading to reduction of the unrequired structure changes in the workpiece. |
