At the textile machine with a number of neighbouring yarn winders for each winding bobbin in swing winding frames, parallel to the longitudinal axis of the machine, the bobbins are on the operating side while winding, and then transferred to the store side by the swing action of the bobbin mountings. Each winder has a bobbin holder on the store side with a holder for a full bobbin. The holder has a transfer for an empty bobbin sleeve which is moved between a point outside the swing range of the full bobbin and a point on the intersection of the empty sleeve axis and the swing arc of the bobbin mounting of the bobbin frame, in a to-and-fro movement. ADVANTAGE - As the movement of the full bobbin into a store section with the insertion of the new bobbin sleeve and the disposal of the full bobbin are independent actions, the winder system is used to the full capacity of the textile machine.
