The invention relates to a combustion engine combination having a plurality of power units, of which each is made up of its independent crankshaft and one or more actuating cylinders driving it, and of mechanisms for connecting these power units to rotate a power output shaft or power output shafts. The engine comprises at minimum two (1, 2) power units of the said type, the first (1) having a greater cylinder (S1) diameter (D1) and a smaller number (n1) of cylinders than has the second power unit (2), which thus has a smaller cylinder (S2) diameter (D2) and larger number (n2) of cylinders than has the first power unit (1). |
