PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition having abrasion resistance comparable to that of organic solvents such as polyimides or oxybenzoyl polyesters, etc., without impairing opposite materials made of a soft metal by blending polytetrafluoroethylene with a specific amount of barium sulfate. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. polytetrafluoroethylene with (B) 5-70 pts.wt. (preferably 10-50 pts.wt.) preferably barium sulfate water ground with normally 0.1-50mum (preferably 1-40mum) particle diameter. Furthermore, 1-40 pts.wt. solid lubricant such as graphite or molybdenum disulfide, as desired, may be blended therein. |
