摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the title copolymer having specific characteristics, excellent dynamic fatigue resistance, weather resistance, ozone resistance, etc., by copolymerizing a higher alpha-olefin with propylene and a nonconjugated diene. CONSTITUTION:6-20C alpha-olefin is copolymerized with propylene and a compound shown by the formula (R<1> is 1-4C alkyl; R<2> and R<3> are H or 1-8C alkyl; with the proviso that R<2> and R<3> are not H at the same time; (n) is 1-5), in the presence of a catalyst for olefinic polymerization comprising (A) a solid titanium catalytic component containing Mg, halogen, etc., as essential components, (B) an organoaluminum compound catalytic component and (C) an electron donor catalytic component to give the objective copolymer having a molar ratio of higher alpha-olefin/propylene of 50/50 to 95/5, 2-40 iodine value and 1.0-10.0dl/g intrinsic viscosity (eta) in a decalin solution at 135 deg.C and <=5% crystallinity by X-ray diffraction method.
