PURPOSE:To prevent the precipitation of a dye even when a transfer image is preserved for a long period of time by adding an aqueous polyester resin and an amphoteric surfactant to an image receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:An image receiving layer receiving the dye transferred from a thermal transfer dye donating material at the time of heating to form an image is provided on a support and this image receiving layer contains an aqueous polyester resin and an amphoteric surfactant. The aqueous polyester resin is a polyester resin dissolved or dispersed in water and may be mixed with and dispersed in a water-soluble binder to be supported. The amphoteric surfactant pref. contains at least one 1-4C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group in one molecule thereof and a fluorine type amphoteric surfactant containing a fluorine atom in its molecule is especially pref. |
