摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramics ball having an almost uniform particle size and high sphericity by adding a water-soluble plasticizing agent as an auxiliary when a ceramics material and a binder solution are added to make the ceramics ball according to a rolling granulation method. CONSTITUTION:Particles of a ceramics material to be incorporated as a nucleus are subjected to rolling process on a rolling plate 12 of a rolling granulating machine 10. A ceramics material powder 14, a binder aqueous solution 16 and a plasticizing agent aqueous solution 18 are added one after another into the inside of the rolling granulating machine 10. If a mixture of the binder aqueous solution 16 with the plasticizing agent aqueous solution 18 is found not to retrograde the retaining power of the ceramics material particles, it is justified to make a mixed aqueous solution of the binder 16 and the plasticizing agent 18 and add the mixed aqueous solution into the inside of the transmission granulating machine 10. A spherical granulated body having an almost uniform particle size, high sphericity and a smooth surface can be obtained in this way. This spherical granulated body is sintered to obtain a ceramics ball in high quality.
