<p>The invention relates to a closure and container assembly having a neck, comprising complementary snap-fit means, characterised in that the neck has two successive snap-fit means having between them an annular groove carrying, set back, several embossings (20), which are uneven in number or a multiple of an uneven number, each having at least on one and the same side, to the left or to the right, a lateral bearing edge (21, 22) with one and the same tilt relative to the axis of the neck, the inside of the said closure having embossings (13) which snap fit into the said groove and, after possible rotation of the said closure, interact simultaneously with the said bearing edges (21, 22) of the embossings (20) of the said groove, giving rise to a downward translational movement of the said closure and its definitive snap-fitting.
