A mitre cutter which is composed of a head with a support which receives a motor and a cutting disc which slide on a rail mounted on lateral arms which rotate in lateral supports of the machine. The arms are equipped with pairs of aligned, facing holes receiving screws for rotation thereof. The vertex of the arms is equipped on its outer periphery with two curved portions of radii in centres in the aforesaid holes, equipped with stops which in the rotation of the arm make contact on screws of the lateral supports. For the correction of clearances, one of the three wheels of the motor support can be adjusted in terms of height and the centre of the distance between the other two is in alignment with the centre of the distance between two displaceable wheels mounted on a rear pillar behind the longitudinal guide. <IMAGE>
