A Christmas tree stand, comprising a base section 10, which is intended to rest against a horizontal surface, and an upwardly directed container part 13, which is angularly adjustable relative to the base section and which has members 15,16 for fixing a stem belonging to a Christmas tree. The base section 10 is provided firstly with surfaces 23 which are set up to interact with surfaces 13b on the container part 13 and secondly with members 17-22 for generating a reciprocal friction- locking between the said surfaces. <IMAGE> |
