PURPOSE:To improve appearance around a door glass by positioning the tips of the bristles of a seal lip at a topmost stage in a state that the tips are positioned in a level lower than that of the tip of a seal lip, and forming a rib, with which the bristles are covered, to the tip of the seal lip, in a weather strip having bristles used for the door of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 3 is arranged to a door outside plate 1 along a belt line 11 and seal lips 32 and 33 are obliquely arranged in a manner to wipe the outer surface of a door glass 2. Bristles 4 are filled in the seal lips 32 and 33. In this case, a rib 5 the height of which is slightly lower than that of the bristles 4 and in a state to make non-contact with a door glass surface is formed to the tip of the upper stage seal lip 32 and on the door glass wiping surface side and protruded along the tip thereof, and the bristles 4 are filled from a position located in a level slightly lower than that of the rib 5. This constitution conceals the bristles 4 of the upper stage seal lip 32 from the outside and improves the appearance. |
