Protecting cathodically corrosion protected high voltage cable ends from voltage surges - using restricting units connected over insulation pieces

Device for protecting the end connection of cathodically corrosion protected high voltage cable tubes in free air from voltage surges, consists of using at least one restricting unit (A). Pref. several units are built into the frame which have low internal wave resistance and are sufficient to resist thermal and dynamic current loading. They are individually connected over the insulation pieces (IG,IF,IS). ADVANTAGE - There is no need to use central restricting units and the units used are safe from the risk of explosions.
