An air heater consists of an axial ventilator through which quantities of air are blown through a heater battery between parallel swivelling louvres. Flat bars are set on the face of the louvres in the form of a cross which split the air stream into four rectangular cross section separate currents. The flat bars (7) are bent at right angles at their ends to offset them a distance from the louvres. This prevents the warm air from discharging against the bars (7) and makes possible an uninterrupted secondary flow. USE/ADVANTAGE - The supply of cooler room air or secondary flow is increased in the warm air stream.
